Every day, Vremya features biographic shows telling about legendary people and epoch-making events; Russian and foreign documentary series; and materials from the invaluable archives of the State TV and Radio Fund and Channel One Russia.
The key premiere of the season is Lyudi Vremeni (People of the Time) show, which is a digest of the best interviews, stories, and journalist investigations ever aired on Vremya. New program series Odnazhdy (Once Upon a Time) shares with viewers unknown facts and untold stories from the lives of celebrities.


In the new season, viewers will meet: Daniil Spivakovsky, Artemiy Troitsky, Sergey Bezrukov, Evgeniy Ginzburg, Evgeniy Mironov, and many others. Vremya will also tell stories from the lives of Michael Jackson, the Rolling Stones, Claude Monet, Jack London, Rudolph Nureyev, George Clooney, Martin Scorsese, Queen Elizabeth, Princess Diana, and other celebrities of the past and present.
According to a TNS TV Index+ national non-cable survey in the first half of 2010, Vremya channel became the most popular channel in its category in terms of average daily viewing time. Vremya has the most loyal audience, with 21% of its monthly audience watching the channel every day.
In 2009 Vremya won a Hot Bird TV Award in the ‘Documentaries’ category.
