


Vremya is a unique biography project that tells viewers about the lives of outstanding people: musicians and athletes, politicians and scientists, TV hosts and actors, film, theater, and music stars. On Vremya channel, legendary people speak about themselves, their lives, and their epoch.
Vremya is the history of the XX century in person. Journalist investigations, declassified documents, unique archive materials and biographic evidence — Vremya channel uses this puzzle to carefully recreate the lives of those who have forever made their way into history, and opens previously unknown pages in the lives of idols.

In his author program Zolotoy Vynyl (Golden Vinyl), musician Oleg Nesterov describes the making of cult Soviet songs and the lives of their authors and performers. In the show Po Volne Moyey Pamyati (On the Waves of My Memory), famous singers and composers share their memories of the highlight moments in their lives. Program Monologue presents the revelations of the heroes of our time. Marina Raikina’s program Roli Ispolnyaut (Cast) treats the audience to unforgettable encounters with theater idols.


The series of biographical films Chelovek v Kadre (Person in Shot) gives viewers unknown details of the lives of film stars long gone. The section Po Zayavkam Zriteley (Upon Viewers’ Requests) presents unique remastered programs, while Artefakti Vremeni (Artifacts of Time) shows rare footages from the Soviet past of our country.

National research of non-air TV channels TNS TV Index + in the 1H of 2009 showed that Vremya became the leader in popularity in its segment. It also registered the best parity of home reception and monthly viewing.
